Anyone considering self-employment but with little knowledge of the practicalities or who needs a bit of a skills makeover.
What will I learn?
You will come away with a clearer idea of how businesses are set up. You will have a greater understanding of the importance of business planning and cash flow forecasting, as well as issues surrounding tax and national insurance. You'll take away handouts with tips and tools to help you deal with the paperwork and keep good records.

Workshop 2: “Getting organised for business”
3 hour seminar, central London 10:00am - 1:00pm
Who's it for?
Anyone considering self-employment but with little knowledge of the practicalities or who needs a bit of a skills makeover.
What will I learn?
You will come away with a clearer idea of how to organise yourself at home and the practicalities of living and working in the same space. There will be tips on keeping track of expenses and setting up a home office. You will also see the importance of promoting your business in a relevant way and how there is no such thing as a casual conversation.
You'll take away handouts with plenty of tips.

The workshops are held in a relaxed atmosphere with no more than 8 people, allowing time for discussion on the subjects that matter to you.
The course fee includes all training materials, handouts, working spreadsheets and booklets, as well as light refreshments.
